I remember the first time I listed my artwork on eBay. Trudging through miles of unrelated categories and unrelated listings, I felt lost. I didn't think anybody would ever find my art. Amy Brown buckles down for new year

AmyBrownArt.com, the official website of renowned fantasy artist Amy Brown, released a newsletter this week with promises for a magical new year.

In addition to the extensive line of products featuring Amy's work, the website announced plans to begin selling journals, clothing, coffee mugs, and tote bags this spring. Fans will be excited to hear that in light of ongoing economic woes, the site extended its sale on art prints.

The website itself will undergo several updates, including a new free screensaver and a new site journal for Amy.

Artist who promoted environmental awareness with fairy paintings passes away

Florida artist, author and environmentalist Tom Cross used his fantasy artwork to impress on people with the earth's beauty, hoping he would motivate them to protect it. After a long five-year battle with lung cancer, Cross passed away on December 27, 2008.
