In addition to our main sites, we have many parked fairy domains.

Plus, you can track the performance of your ads! After we set up your banner(s), we will email you with information about logging into a special area where you can see how many times your ads are viewed and clicked. Through the user interface, you can also opt to receive weekly view/click reports.

Using the Service

  • What size should my banner(s) be?

    All submitted banners must be 125 x 125. If you submit a banner larger or smaller than this, we cannot display the banner. Instead, we will contact you immediately about the problem and request a banner of the appropriate size. If you do not submit a suitable banner within 30 days, we will cancel your plan so as to prevent you from incurring subscription charges.

  • What image formats do you accept for banners?

    We accept .gif, .png, and .jpg. Please email us if you would like us to consider a different format.

  • When will my ad(s) be set up?

    After you make your payment, you will be redirected to a form where you you have the option to upload your 125x125 banner(s) and specify the link(s). We will email you when we place your ad in the network.

  • How many visits do your sites receive?

    FairyGuide.com alone receives nearly 1000 unique visitors a month. Of these visitors, approximately half of them are returning visitors. In the average visit, the user browses six pages and spends seven minutes on the site. This equates to over five thousand page views each month. Plus, FairyGuide's traffic has steadily been increasing

  • How many clicks can I expect?

    Initial tests using FairyGuide banners suggest that banners receive around 10-15 clicks per day.

  • How is this better than using a search engine to advertise?

    Ten clicks a day using a search engine advertising service, at an average rate of $0.30 each, would cost $3 a day (compare to one banner advertising on FairyGuide at $5/month). If you continued this rate for 30 days, you would pay $90. That's 18 times more expensive than our lowest $5/month advertising solution and over 8 times more expensive than our highest $11/month solution.

    Plus, visitors from FairyGuide already display a vested interest in fairies. This way, you get targeted fairy traffic.

    Finally, our advertising method eliminates click fraud, since you get unlimited clicks with your monthly subscription fee. Click fraud makes up anywhere between 10 and 20 percent of all clicks, and with pay-per-click advertising methods, the advertiser pays for these clicks.

  • Can I change my banner(s) and/or link(s)?

    You can change your banner(s) and/or link(s) at anytime by emailing us with your request. We will make the appropriate updates within 2 business days.

  • Can I advertise more than one site?

    You can advertise as many sites as you'd like. You can advertise additional sites on a single banner or you can purchase additional banners at a discounted rate. If you decide to advertise multiple sites on a single banner, please note that we can only link a one banner to one single site.

  • Do you guarantee traffic and/or sales?

    For obvious reasons, we cannot guarentee traffic and/or sales. Your click-through rates and conversion rates will depend entirely on the quality and content of your banner(s) and/or site(s).

  • Can I track my ad(s)?

    After we set up your banner(s), we will email you with information about logging into a special area where you can see how many times your ads are viewed and clicked.

  • Where will my ad(s) be displayed?

    On FairyGuide.com, ads are displayed in a column on the right side of each page (look to your right). On FaeMail.net and Fae.lv, ads are displayed at the bottom of each page, directly beneath the content. On Link-Fairy.com, ads are displayed in a column on the left side of each page. We recommend visiting each site to see the location of the ads.

  • Will my ad(s) be visible at all times?

    Your ad(s) will be randomly displayed across our network. You will be taking turns for placements with the other advertisers, so your ad(s) might not be visible at all times.

  • What content can my banner and/or site have in order to participate in your advertising service?

    FairyGuide reserves the right at all times to refuse to post or to remove any information or materials, in whole or in part, that in FairyGuide's sole discretion are objectionable. If you submit a banner which we find objectionable, we will not display the banner. Instead, we will contact you immediately about the problem and request a different banner. If you do not submit a suitable banner within 30 days, we will cancel your plan so as to prevent you from incurring subscription charges.

    Billing Policies

  • Can I cancel my service?

    You can cancel your advertising service at any time for any reason, no questions asked. You can discontinue your subscription through your PayPal account. If you need help, you can email or call us. We do not give prorated refunds for the unused portion of your subscription. Instead, we will continue to rotate your banner(s) on our network until your next billing cycle. On the first day of your next billing cycle, we will remove your banner(s) from our network. You will not incur further billing charges upon canceling.

  • Can I downgrade or upgrade my plan?

    Monthly subscribers can downgrade or upgrade their plans at anytime. Annual subscribers can downgrade to either any monthly plan or a lower annual plan and receive a prorated refund, or upgrade to any annual plan and pay a prorated upgrade fee. If you need to change your plan, please contact us with your request. After receiving your request, we will make appropriate updates within 2 business days. The annual plan prorated refund/charge is calculated from the date of your request as follows, where positive amounts indicate a refund due and negative amounts indicate a charge due:

    • o = original subscription fee
    • n = new subscriptions fee
    • m = months left in subscription


    Please note that we must have a tangible, dated record of your request. You can't claim that you contacted us x months ago regarding a downgrade and demand x months refund. Therefore, if we don't respond to your request within 2 business days, please attempt to contact us again in case of an error.

  • Will your prices increase?

    As our network attracts more traffic, advertising rates could increase accordingly. Higher rates will affect new customers only. You will lock in your rate for as long as you maintain an active advertising subscription.

  • What if your prices decrease?

    If our prices decrease, monthly subscribers should automatically pay the new, lower price starting with the next billing cycle; please contact us if you have any concerns. For annual subscribers, we will refund the prorated difference if you contact us with your request. We will calculate the prorated refund counting from the day of your request as follows:

    • m = months left in subscription


  • Can I get a refund?

    Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds, not even prorated refunds, on advertising. Otherwise, unscrupulous customers would abuse our services to obtain unlimited free advertising. We give you 30 days of free trial advertising so that you can evaluate our service to see if it meets your needs. If you are unsatisfied with the service for any reason, you can cancel your subscription at any time during the trial, no questions asked, to avoid charges.

  • If I have used your services before, am I still eligible for the 30 day trial advertising period?

    If you have used our advertising services before, even if for a different website, you can not sign up for a 30 day advertising trial. Otherwise, unscrupulous customers would abuse the trial to obtain unlimited free advertising.

  • Can international users advertise?

    International advertisers are welcome! Your country of residence does not affect your eligibility to advertise. Prices are in $USD, though, so you'll need to check up on currency conversion rates. PayPal will automatically convert your currency for you.
