How do I get people to talk in the forums?!

Fairy Guide will have been open for a year on October 23, and all of my attempts to get people to participate in the forums have failed! I am waiting for some nice friends to discuss fairies with. 
Come on people, I've redesigned them, made it easy to post, and you can get FREE stuff for posting. What else do you need? 
Seriously, though, I would like to see a community of fairy lovers develop, and I need help figuring out what I'm missing. Your input is appreciated.
